Accessible Studies
The Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin is strongly committed to inclusion!
The Hochschule aims to break down barriers and facilitate equal and independent participation in studies and student life for students with disabilities or chronic diseases.
Chronic diseases are illnesses that affect quality of life and the ability to work or study. Dyslexia, rheumatism, multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease, cancer, mental health issues such as PTSD, depression, addiction, anxiety or eating disorders are long-term impairments. This should not become a disadvantage during studies.
The Representative for students with disabilities and chronic diseases offers you confidential counselling and helps you with questions about your study and life situation, options for compensating for disadvantages (Nachteilsausgleich) and our further offers.
By providing information and counselling services, it aims to support students in completing their studies with as few restrictions as possible.
It is aimed at students with visual, hearing and mobility impairments as well as students with chronic and mental health issues.
