Higher education teaching qualification through the BZHL (Berlin Center for Higher Education)
The Berlin Center for Higher Education (BZHL) was established by a cooperative alliance of 13 public institutions of higher learning in Berlin, to which the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin also belongs, and in collaboration with the Berlin Senate. The BZHL is designed to contribute to the improvement of the quality of teaching by offering all instructors from all status groups in the 13 cooperating institutions of higher learning the option of acquiring higher education teaching qualifications. These options for advanced training and counseling services feature themes that are attractive to both instructors at the start of their careers as well as those with many years of experience in higher education.
