  • Simultaneously solo oboist in the European Youth Orchestra under Claudio Abbado
  • 1993, fulltime engagement with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra as solo English hornist
  • Numerous solo and chamber music performances on oboe and English horn in Germany and abroad
  • Longstanding person in charge for woodwind section with Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra
  • Winner of Bayerischer Kulturpreis 1990 as well as ARD International Music Competition for Oboe 1996
